This centre of excellence which was first established in 1986 as civil sector school affiliated to CBSE.The School which was accommodated initially at Railway High School campus admitted students in standards I to V.With the introduction of standards VI to IX, the first batch of class X appeared Board Examination in the year 1992.The year 2003 was memorable as the Vidyalaya moved into the present campus at Pragati Vihar set up sprawling on 18 acres of land . The new +2 pattern of education was introduced in 2003.
